Kamu Balance

Kamu Balance (Kamusaldo) is the balance that is consumed when you use the AI assistant: when you request changes in the Chat view, work in Studio, or ask the assistant for advice. The balance is shown in euros, and you can always see it in real time in Studio and on the Billing page in the dashboard.

Kamu Balance is team-wide: one shared balance covers all of the team's sites and users.

Where the balance comes from​

  • Welcome balance: every new user gets 5 € of Kamu Balance on signup.
  • Included in your subscription: the monthly and annual subscriptions add 10 € to the team's balance every month, counted from the subscription start date. The balance accumulates; unused balance does not disappear at the end of the month.
  • Top-ups: you can top up at any time (see below).

The Lite subscription and the free trial do not include a monthly balance.

All balance is valid for 12 months from the day it was added, and the oldest balance is always used first. The Kamu Balance card on the Billing page lists every batch with its expiry date.

What the balance is spent on​

  • Using the AI assistant in the Chat view and in Studio. The price is based on the tokens used; Studio machine time is not charged.
  • Site builds. The first completed build of a site is always free; after that every new version or update is charged to the balance (typically around 0.30 €). Failed builds are never charged.

Topping up​

If the balance is not enough, you can top up:

  1. Open the Billing page and press Top up Kamu Balance.
  2. Choose an amount: 10 €, 25 €, 50 €, or any amount between 1 and 500 €.
  3. Payment is made by card via Stripe. The balance appears on your account immediately after payment, and a receipt is added to your invoice history.

Topped-up balance is valid for 12 months from purchase, like all other balance.

Tracking consumption​

In the Consumption section of the Billing page you can see what the balance has been spent on:

  • Choose the period to view with the date fields.
  • You can see the time, source (for example a Studio session, the chat assistant, or a site build), site, and amount of each event. A Studio session's rows are grouped together, so you see the session's total cost on one line.
  • The By day button groups consumption per day.
  • Export CSV downloads all rows as a spreadsheet file you can open in Excel, for example.

The Kamu Balance card on the same page shows each balance batch with its expiry date and the latest events.

When the balance is low​

  • When less than 3 € remains, the Billing page and Studio remind you to top up.
  • If the balance runs out completely, a Studio session cannot be started, the chat assistant cannot respond, and a new build cannot be started until you top up. A site's first build always goes through.
  • If the balance runs out mid Studio session, publish your changes right away to keep them safe, top up in another tab, and refresh the Studio page.
