Documents

On the Documents tab you make more than websites with Kamu: presentations, text documents, and diagrams. You'll find it in the dashboard top bar.

Rolling out gradually

The Documents feature is being rolled out gradually, so it may not be enabled on your account yet. Contact support if you would like to try it.

Document types

  • Presentation: a slide deck you can publish as a link
  • Document: a text document you edit like in a word processor
  • Diagram: a diagram or process description
  • Form: a form whose responses are forwarded to an address of your choice
  • HTML page: a single web page with a free-form layout
  • Brand book: your company's colors, fonts, and logo in one place, so other documents can use them

Creating a document

  1. Press Create document.
  2. Give the document a name and choose a type. If you belong to multiple teams, also choose the team.
  3. Press Create and open. The document opens for editing in the Studio editor in a new tab, and you can tell Kamu right away what content you want.

Documents are listed by team. A document can be renamed or removed from the list with the icons on its row. A published document's address does not change even if you rename it.

Publishing

When you publish a document from the editor, it gets a public address you can share, for example with a customer. The address is shown in the document list. An unpublished document shows "Not published yet".
